Carried Away / Oryx Magazine, July 2018

July 3, 2018

If the best demonstration of functional fitness is the ability to lift your cabin bag above your head and into the overhead locker without injuring yourself or others, having the least amount of contact with one’s luggage is a true travel luxury. With porters a rarity that few of us generally encounter, the trunk, with its bulk as much as its atmosphere of grand tours, is a relic from a different era. Yet there’s still a niche in the world of luggage in which portability is not the point.
